Cancellations & refunds

For reports, review sessions and scoped engagements.

Last updated · 23 September 2026

Before you purchase

Business Diagnostic Labs™ operates in the United Kingdom. Mandatory consumer rights apply regardless of this policy. Individual consumers and organisations purchasing for business purposes may have different rights. Contact: info@businessdiagnosticlabs.com. Business engagement cancellation arrangements are set out in the agreed quotation or written engagement.

How to request cancellation

Contact info@businessdiagnosticlabs.com with your name, order reference, service, purchase date and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Do not send payment-card details. If a statutory right applies, a clear cancellation statement is sufficient; you do not need to explain why.

Consumer cooling-off rights

If UK consumer distance-selling rules apply, consumers generally have 14 days after entering a service or digital-content contract to cancel, subject to applicable exceptions. Rights may differ in other jurisdictions. This policy does not shorten any statutory period or remove remedies for faulty or misdescribed content or services.

Digital reports

Where UK rules apply, supplying digital content during the cancellation period requires the consumer’s express consent and acknowledgment that the cancellation right will be lost when supply begins, with the required confirmation. Merely accepting these terms or buying a report is not that consent. A report is not automatically non-refundable merely because it has been downloaded or personalised.

Calls, reviews and early performance

If a consumer expressly requests that a service begin during an applicable cooling-off period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply to work supplied before cancellation. Under UK rules, loss of the cancellation right on full performance also requires the appropriate request and acknowledgment. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cannot attend. Any specific rescheduling or missed-session conditions must be communicated before booking; this page does not impose a separate no-show fee.

Bundles and organisation engagements

The report-and-call bundle includes distinct deliverables. Cancellation of each component is assessed under the applicable rules and agreed price allocation. Organisation diagnostics, workshops and advisory work require written milestones and cancellation arrangements before work begins. Contact us for the cancellation calculation applicable to your bundle or engagement. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over contractual cancellation arrangements.

Problems, refunds and provider cancellation

Report missing, inaccessible or materially incorrect deliverables so the appropriate correction, repeat performance, price reduction or refund can be considered under applicable law. Where UK statutory cancellation rules require a refund, it is generally due within 14 days of being informed of cancellation, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed and without a refund fee. If we cannot deliver a booked service, contact us to arrange an alternative or a refund for the undelivered service, subject to your statutory rights. Requests outside statutory cancellation rights are considered against the agreed order and work already supplied.
